Netherlands (but also Soviet Union) didn't like August at all, and there had been a long discussion with FMJD, which was, of course, very mindful of those important opinions. But the Italian Organizers (basically, I'm talking of my Italian club, at the time) were not ready to accept a compromise, also because Italian players were at disposal only in August. At the end, Soviets did take part (although they had specific troubles in their voyage) and the Dutch didn't." |
Werkelijke eindstand volgens gegevens Dama Sport: 
Als ik het goed bekijk is hier bij gelijk eindigen in Wedstrijdpunten Wl-1, Wl-2, Wl-3 als volgend criterium gebruikt
(in Toernooibase bij teamwedstrijden niet beschikbaar).
Dat betekent dat Italie 1 op de 8e plaats is geeindigd en Italie 3 op de 9e plaats.
