You can see the live games on two boards (the players 'switch' from board after a draw).
With "full screen" you can see both applets.

Do not use this commentroom for testing new dia's etc. The dia's from the fmjd-site can be used. Other forms can conflict with the width of the input area.

Because of technical reasons:
In the Georgiev system they play within the time continuous games, untill one of them loses.
They have to change colors (which as for as i know is not possible with the electronic board).
When game is finshed the go to next board, clock will be plugged in again (with the time there is left)..

@Piet Bouma:I knew you would remove my tests, so I was not so worried about putting them here.  I tested the creation of an html table based diagram, that is up and working right now. It is a small diagram and does not interfere with the width of the comment.
One of the tests did, but I fixed that bug.

Despite Georgiev took the 3x3, he has a good surrounding (what was it exactly Tjalling?) position.

He now has a classic position, I think black has a little advantage.

@French1977, there is no sound with the images from the playing room. There is sound however with the images from the explanation room.

@Michel, the streaming server from the explanation room is getting more and more viewers, zo it is working for a lot of people. Can't say anything about the playing room, only that it is working correctly here

Have some patience with the video streams. They are really broadcasted but starting is sometimes quit slow.

I guess we are facind the limits. But the applet shows the game with a little bit of delay.

Georgiev showed ,that in such a tipe of game must take any,even a little chance .Look at the clock!All the time was burned on defensing worse position. Shvartsman could do it in the past game

Georgiev seems to have lost his confidence. On the 43rd move he was thinking for a while about 32-27 and 26-21 (which is a draw), but in the end he changed his mind.

The applet could not follow, EBS has missed no moves but refused to upload the last ones. The games from this round are now avaiable in the Archive.

@Paul: May be the FTP server was overloaded, so EBS was not able to do uploads anymore. It's not very likely that EBS stopped doing uploads. What is the refresh rate of the applets? If it is too high, then there may be too much traffic on the server.

Master, the losing move was 41-36 at move 46.

It will be very difficult for Georgiev to change this mach. Though the condition of Schwarzman isn't the best, in the barrage-games he was the person whit initiatif.

@Wieger: Indeed, uploading continued, I defined the game end properly but the last moves never appeared in the applet, neither in the local LDF.
And therefore the last moves are also not visible in the archive.

I increased the upload timing now to 15 seconds.

refreshrate is 10 seconds.
During the game I had the idea that the refresh rate was actually longer; this confirms a possible overload of the server

However, the trouble started after a very fast combination on the board (I could see that in the video).
After that for sometime no updates where shown. And then suddenly new moves came in, until the position was reached where Georgiev had to give a piece ...
I guess that Georgiev soon after that gave up ... Did he?

First I received an LDF file with result = 2-0 last move was 42. Then after a few minutes, the LDF was updated, and I got the moves till 48.

I hope the camera in the audience room can be zoomed in a bit more when the game starts again. The board is now very far away.

Stange Schwarzman did not play another 16 moves before agree with a draw. Then he should have 2 minutes instead of one. Its better to have 2 against 4 then 1 against 3 minutes.

Georgiev gambled and lost. It's an impressive victory by Schwarzman with so little time! On the 47th move Georgiev could still have escaped with the sacrifice 47.16-11! 17x6 48.38-32 etc.

Horizon sees still a draw after 47. 16-11 . It takes Horizon 6.7 seconds to find this move. Georgiev played 38-32 a tempo.

It was a great pleasure to be able to follow all this live without having to travel to The Netherlands. Very well done to the organisation of this World Championship, and also very well done to the players who have played a number of very interesting games. I did not expect this result from the micromatches, but Schwarzman showed he is a real champion.

Schwarzman follows whit some strong moves.37..18-23! white now has to go to de egde of the bord.39.14-20 despite black has to do this move, it's a very good one. Aftere 43.31-27 white is running out of moves. He decides (what else?) to play 44.27-21 For example: 44.43-38? 7-12 45.27-21 1-7 46.34-29* 23x34 47.30x39 18-22! 48.39-34* 13-18 49.34-29 22-27!
