Yes Eric, of course combination was much quicker but Pan Yiming checked it in a wrong way (with 21-27). However move in the game also wins.

Yes, Piet, Pan Yiming is my student. He joined my group in April 2015 when he was contracted by Hubei Mind Sports Center. Sinds then he moved from his hometown in Zhejiang province to Wuhan (capital of Hubei province). Before me he was no trained by any coach - he knows draughts from internet. But he was sure not a beginner - indeed very strong for 11 years-old boy. In Asian championship same year later he has win almost any game in this category - 1 draw in 3 programs.

Pan Yiming has glasses now, Alexey. It's not necessary, especially at his age. Please tell him about the Dr. Bates method, http://wqd.nl/VXwj . Aldous Huxley cured himself with it from near-blindness. 

Congrats Pan Yiming and also Alexei! This is a formidable result and what meets the eye in his game is impressive. Not only the technical level, but also the originallity in finding solutions. It is joy to see this player and a joy also to see what you acheived in China!
